Blood serum came back at 380 when I’d been supplementing for several months at 1000mcg per day. Which means low. And these tests are unreliable anyway and had just been referred for neuropathy plus visual disturbances. I read someone was taking 10000-15000 per day and thought I’d give it a go. Some side effects which are know as wake up or walking back through the symptoms of deficiency. So say for example I had pains in the arches of my feet since starting the smaller dose. On the higher dose this pain got worse and then got better. Energy improved, photophobia halved, PEM virtually gone, brain half working. Had some funny side effects which were alleviated with electrolytes and food and dropping the dose from 15 to 10 to 6 per day. Most positive result I’ve had from anything.
