Bisoprolol is a cardioselective beta-blocker used to treat hypertension and heart conditions. In the context of Long COVID, it is mainly prescribed to manage tachycardia, particularly postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
Initially got on it for POTS/feeling ill when sitting up or standing up an dit helped very well. When I got COVID again and started having PEM I realised it helped preventing PEM. When I tried lowering my dosage I immediately got PEM form something I never had before and never had since back on the current dosage
A diminué mon rythme cardiaque de 15 à 20%, je n’ai plus l’impression que mon cœur va sortir de ma poitrine en tout temps.
